4 Transplants Behind Us . . . 2 More In Front of Us!
Hello everyone!
Thank you thank you thank you for your prayers and for your sacrificial giving. Through you, God has provided for 4 Non-Embryonic Live-Birth Stem-Cell Transplants for Kevin. Thank you for choosing to prayerfully and financially be a part of Kevin's Journey. Our prayer is that God will richly bless you for your selfless and sacrificial giving. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We were listening to Chris Tomlin this morning as we were praying for the words to come to you - once again - on our knees - asking for help for Kevin. As we were
listening to the lyrics to "Jesus Messiah", it seemed so simple. He is our hope - All our hope is in Him. And that is what Kevin's Journey is all about - Hope. He promises to provide even when our need seems insurmountable. No need is too great for God and He will be glorified. There are only two more transplants to compete the protocol. We need to raise about $15,500 for each transplant and the next transplant is in about 3 weeks. Kathy has had an extreme case of SHINGLES for about 2 months now. She has been very sick - basically bed bound - so we are getting a very, very late start on raising funds for Kevin's April transplant. But we remain confident that God will provide as He so graciously has throughout this journey. We have learned over and over on this journey not to limit God. Would you please, again, prayerfully consider what God might have you contribute to see Kevin through these last 2 transplants? It brings us to our knees to humble ourselves before Him and before you asking for help. Our focus remains on God, and allowing Him to provide for Kevin - in His way, and in His timing.
We remain in awe of His grace, His goodness, His faithfulness and His love for us. First and foremost, please pray for us to constantly have the spiritual, emotional, and physical stamina to face each day. Please pray for God to have His way in our lives so that He can be glorified. And please pray that God will continue to bless us with His provision.
Most of you are aware of our affiliation with the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF). NTAF has been a blessing as it provides a tax-deductible channel for all of you to contribute. One thing that we would like to bring to your attention, is that NTAF has changed the URL to their site, so please go towww.ntafund.org. Their newly designed site actually makes it even easier to make a contribution for Kevin. On the main page is an easy "Find a Patient" feature that takes you directly to Kevin Wooldridge's page. Once you are on his page, there is a big red "CONTRIBUTE NOW" tab where you can make a contribution "in honor of Kevin Wooldridge".
We have also reworked a couple of things on our www.angelsforkevin.com website that provides more detailed information about Kevin's Story and has a direct link to Kevin's patient page on the NTAF website. So please reference both of the websites as you share Kevin's Story with others.
BUY CANDLES AND HELP KEVIN!
Many of you have asked us how you can help in ways other than financial giving, and this is an easy, fun, and very meaningful way that you can help. Sally Creed, a dear friend and supporter in Houston, is working through PartyLite Candles to raise funds for Kevin. And every home can always use more candles! It won't take much time and it will mean SO much to Kevin.
Here's all you have to do:

2) Sally will send you a brochure to circulate among your friends, family and work associate
3) Take all the orders you can for the products offered in the brochure
4) Send all the orders to Sally at sscreed@comcast.net
5) All the candle orders will come to you for distribution
6) Finally, PartyLite will donate 50% of the sales to NTAF on behalf of Kevin WooldridgeBy the way, we have personally used these candles in the past and can attest to the fact that they are a really great product. They're perfect for any gift giving occasion. Or, just stock up for your own personal use.
